Groundwork Rhode Island is launching a Harvest Cycle food scrap drop-off site at our small farm located at 433 Prairie Avenue, Providence, RI 02905. On Sunday, April 25th, 2021 from 10am-2pm, our youth Green Team will be hosting a kick-off event to launch the new drop-off and provide community education on zero waste topics. This will be a great event for kids! There will be games, prizes, and quick Compost 101 tutorials. You’ll also be able to start some seeds and take home a plant or two!

Covid-19 safety protocols will be followed! Visitors will be expected to wear masks and Groundwork RI staff will manage visitors inside the farm to maintain distance. Covid-19 supplies will also be available as give-aways!
